Gaming should be a source of fun – not stress or financial hardship. Sonabat always wants you to play in a healthy, responsible way and enjoy gaming as a positive part of your life.
Gaming is entertainment – not a source of income. Never chase your losses.
Responsible gaming means enjoying gaming as a controlled, mindful, and fun activity. Sonabat believes every player has the right to entertainment – but never at the cost of financial stress or mental wellbeing.
Responsible gaming doesn't mean you can't play. It means you know your limits – how long to play, how much time to spend, how much money to wager, and when to stop. At Sonabat, we provide a range of tools and features to help you stay in control of all of this.
Gaming addiction is a real issue. Thousands of people in Bangladesh are facing financial and family difficulties due to online gaming. Sonabat takes this seriously and actively works to raise awareness.
Gaming is for fun, not for making a living. Chasing losses almost always leads to even greater harm.
You decide in advance how much to spend each week or month and stick to that limit.
You have a set daily play time and keep it from cutting into family time or work.
You take both wins and losses in stride and don't desperately chase money you've lost.
You balance time across family, friends, work, and other hobbies — gaming doesn't take over everything.
If you feel you're losing control, reach out to Sonabat support or someone in your family for help.
Tools Sonabat offers to help you stay in control of your gaming experience
Set a maximum deposit limit on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. Limits take effect immediately once set, and any increase requires a 24-hour waiting period.
Set a time limit for each gaming session. Once your limit is reached, Sonabat will automatically alert you and end the session.
Gaming will automatically stop once your losses reach a set limit. This protects you from the risk of uncontrolled losing.
Take a temporary break from gaming for anywhere between 24 hours and 6 months. No gaming or deposits will be possible during this period.
Exclude yourself from Sonabat for anywhere from 1 year to a lifetime. Your account will be fully locked for the entire duration of the self-exclusion.
You can view your full gaming and financial history at any time. Seeing a clear picture of your spending and time helps build greater self-awareness.
Log in to Sonabat and head to "Account Settings" or the "Responsible Gaming" section to access all these tools. If you need help at any point, our live chat support team is always ready to assist.
Go through the questions below. If you answer "Yes" to more than three, you may need some support.
Did you spend more last month than you originally planned?
Have you continued playing after a loss in an attempt to win back what you lost?
Has gaming been interfering with your family life or work?
Have you tried to stop gaming but couldn't?
Have you relied on gaming winnings to cover financial problems?
Have you hidden your gaming spending from family or loved ones?
If you answered "Yes" to 3 or more questions, please contact Sonabat support and consider self-exclusion or setting limits.
Online gaming addiction can be just as harmful as any other addiction. This is a growing problem in Bangladesh, and Sonabat wants to make sure it never affects you or your family.
If you feel you're losing control, don't hide it. Tell a family member or someone you trust. Contact Sonabat support. You don't have to face this alone.
The first step is honestly acknowledging to yourself that there is a problem.
Set deposit limits or self-exclude on Sonabat.
Talk to a family member or friend — don't fight this alone, reach out for help.
Seek advice from a psychologist or counsellor if needed.
Sonabat is strictly for players aged 18 and above. This isn't just a formality – we enforce it rigorously. Age is verified at registration, and national ID or other proof of identity may be required as part of our KYC process.
If it comes to our attention that a minor is using Sonabat, their account will be immediately suspended and all transactions will be voided.
If you suspect your child is using Sonabat or any other online gaming site, please contact our support team immediately. We will act quickly.
Decide how long you'll play before you start. Set an alarm. When the time is up, stop – no exceptions.
Set an entertainment budget at the start of each month. Play only with that amount — never with money you can't afford to lose.
Take at least a 15-minute break every hour. Get up, walk around, and drink some water.
Don't play when you're angry, frustrated, or stressed. Your judgment isn't at its best in that state.
